Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-04-18

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to this website and any payments you make for Islamic educational services through IslamQA contribution. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit a payment.

Who we are

We operate IslamQA contribution to collect payment for Islamic educational services and related online publishing, hosting, maintenance, and digital operations for IslamQA-related web properties. In these Terms, references to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the operators of this site.

Payments for educational services

Amounts you choose at checkout are processed as payment for Islamic educational services and related digital delivery. Where monthly billing is offered, it creates a recurring charge until you cancel in accordance with Stripe, PayPal (where used), and card network rules (contact us if you need help).

Tax. We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. We do not represent these payments as tax-deductible charitable contributions. Whether any payment is deductible or otherwise favorable for you depends on your circumstances and local law; consult a qualified professional.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, and where enabled may also be processed by PayPal. Your use of each processor's services is also subject to that processor's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their systems or policies.

Monthly subscriptions and recurring billing

Where you choose monthly billing, you authorize us (through Stripe or PayPal, as applicable) to charge the selected amount in the currency shown at checkout on a recurring basis until you cancel. Billing is typically monthly; the exact interval and renewal date appear on your payment receipt or in your processor account.

Cancellation. You may cancel future renewals at any time using the self-service link in your Stripe receipt email (Stripe Customer Portal / billing portal) when available, through your PayPal account for PayPal subscriptions, or by emailing support@islamqa-contribution.org. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically refund prior completed charges unless an error applies—see our Refund policy.

Notices. Successful charges are usually confirmed by email from Stripe or PayPal. Keep those receipts for your records.

Refunds and billing support

If you have a question about a charge, receipt, or subscription, contact us at support@islamqa-contribution.org. Whether a refund or chargeback is available depends on the payment method, timing, and applicable rules (including card network and Stripe policies).

See our Refund policy for process details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site unlawfully or to harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Interfere with the security or availability of the site or related services
  • Use automated means to abuse or overload the service

Team dashboard

Access to the internal dashboard is limited to authorized users. Credentials must be kept confidential. We may suspend access for security or policy reasons.

Intellectual property

The site’s branding, text, and layout are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or exploit them except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and checkout flows are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or those payments, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred dollars (USD), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or violation of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require applying another jurisdiction’s laws. To the extent permitted by law, state and federal courts within the State of Wyoming, United States have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless a different forum is required by mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country or state where you live (including, where applicable, UK, EEA, or other consumer protection rules). If mandatory law gives you the right to bring a dispute in your local courts or requires a different governing law for certain claims, that law applies to those claims to the minimum extent required.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice if required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
